Watch the visualizer
Animated Julia, Mandelbrot, Newton, Mandelbulb and other fractals with colour palettes and generated ambient audio. It runs full screen and can be installed as an app.
Open the visualizerSynaptic Spiral is a free, browser-based fractal visualizer. It explores the infinite detail of mathematical chaos in moving colour, with some added ambient sound.

Open the visualizerEach explorer focuses on a single fractal with its own controls, presets and explanations: from Mandelbrot deep zoom to ray-marched 3D Mandelbulbs.
Start with Mandelbrot Deep ZoomPlain-language guides explain where each fractal comes from, what its parameters do and how it is rendered in the browser.
Browse the galleryEvery image is calculated in your browser with WebGL, and the deep zoom explorer can also use WebGPU. Deep zoom keeps exact decimal coordinates and high-precision reference orbits, so it can go far beyond ordinary 64-bit numbers. How deep zoom works explains the method, and 3D fractal rendering techniques covers ray marching and distance estimation.
